Heya, Folks,
Can anyone let know what color the periscopes would be for the Vietnam-era Centurions? I'm guessing clear green or clear blue or a combo of the two colors. Any help is always appreciated.
I know AFV Club is busy releasing gun tank variants of the Cent, but I wonder if they have plans to release the engineer and recovery versions...wouldn't that be cool? Also be a lot cheaper than purchasing the resin kits.
Thanks!
Regards and Aloha

Hi Johnny
given the vintage of the vehicle, I would say clear but given the thickness of the glass there would be a slight green tint. As for other variants we can but live in hope.
cheers

Thanks, David!
Yep. Got my fingers crossed on the dozer and recovery Cent variants --- there never are enough engineer vehicle kits in good ole styrene. And while I am dreaming, along with a whole slew of Vietnam-era AFVs and other vehicles I'd like to see kitted, how about some new Vietnam War figures...?! We could stand to use brand new Army, Navy (PBR/Riverine crew), Marines, Aussies and New Zealanders, ARVNs (especially a tank/APC crew!), NVA figures for the PT-76, NVA infantry V.C. guerillas , civilians, etc. etc. etc. all with the current level of molding technology. Like I said, this is "dreaming" I know...
Okay, back to work on the Cent and trying to finish my off M88 and M41...
Have a good one, David!
