Did US M10's ever wear the TD symbol(panther chewing on a tank) in combat? I've been looking in books and on the internet and can't find any photographic evidence of such.

Hey Bret,
I haven't seen any photos of the TD symbol on an M10 anywhere on the Net either.
According to Wikipedia, the symbol was never "officially" adopted by the U.S. Army.

Some of the M10's at the TD School at Ford Hood, Texas had a Black Panther painted on the rear of their turrets.
These markings are available in AFV Club's M10 kit.
I don't know if any decal manufacturers make them in 1/48th or 1/35th scale.
Cheers

There are some in the Tamiya 1/48 M20 kit (which I just bought), so I have the logos.
There were 63 TD battalions at the end of the war, each having 3 companies of 12 TDs, I suppose it's possible ONE of those TDs had the logo painted on it. I just wondered if anyone had seen a photo.
