I'll have to beg to differ with you, Danny. Sure your not thinking of the old BRDM1 kit from Eastern Express? I think DML's BRDM2 is pretty nice. Yes it needs some detail work on the hatches and what not, but over all, not a bad kit.
Nope, I am thinking of DML's kit. I don't even set all that high standards on kits but, in my lowly opinion, the BRDM series is poor-fitting, poorly-detailed and has tires that split. But other than that it's a great kit.... "Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"

DML BRDM kit are not TOO bad. Yes, they are older, but if you know that going in, there should be no surprises. Some putty is needed. I would also encourage the use of Eduard PE. The wheels will work and NOT split if you use acrylics on them and seal the kit with acrylics. I have DML rubber wheel sets that have lasted more than 15 years.
