My Cold War Cook Off M109 is coming along pretty well. Added A LOT of PE over the weekend. Finished up the radios, started the shell shelves, did the M16 rack, did a few things here and there.

So Question - How do you hold three things - 1. PE piece to glue, 2, PE base piece and 3. Glue applicator.

I find I have better control if I hold 1 and 2 in each hand vs using a third hand tool. Plus with some PE you just cant hold the piece with those monsters.

So here's what I do.
1 Practice first dry fit the two pieces together
2 Lay the piece getting glued down next to tweezers
3 Hold the base piece in my left hand (non dominant hand)
4 Take a long length of hobby wire and insert it into the glue and get a decent amount on it.
5 Gently touch the base piece with the tip of the wire
6 Put down the wire
7 Grap the tweezers and pick up the other piece
8 Position the piece
9 Hold for a few seconds.

It can get a bit awkuard and sometime I've got to try a couple of times.

Just curious about any cool techniques out therer.
