Friends,
This is my submission for the Splash Campaign.
Ok as said befor onder the name "Far From Finished" (Operation Tripple F), it's far from completed. There's been enough said and done about that, so I'll simply submit these pics as my entry to this Campaign :
when finished, it should look a bit like this.....
Two headless heroes on a bridge
a closer look.....
the half finished heads of the servicemen
Another bird's view
Like you see there's plenty of work to do, and although it's not finished....I still had very much fun with it. Working with plaster was new to me, but now I know the do's and don'ts with that material.
As for the overall cost :
Dragon Figures : 1/4 * $ 10 = $ 5.00
Plaster : $ 3.00 (includes the 60% I had to throw away )
Some paint and wood : $ 1.00
Grand total : Less than $ 9.00
Dioramas
Do you love dioramas & vignettes? We sure do.

Hey, I'll make ya a deal. When you get it finished I'll buy it from you for $10.00 You'll make a dollar and I won't have to match your paint job on the water and the figures. (I have the Dragon figures still in the box)
Good job...

I like the configuration of the bridge. Makes it very interesting. It's coming along well. The heads (while body-less) are looking good.
What are your plans for the path? The rocks in the look a smidgen out of place. They remind me of rubble, and the bridge is in good condition. They also could be just a rocky path bed, if so they could use a bit of 'working in'. A layer of dirt in and around letting most of the rock show through. Am I making sense? If not let me know.

Now that`s a nice lookin` bridge you`ve got there dude I like it. You composition is really good and the figures will come out the same. I love it already but come on finish it so we can all see what we want

Guys,
thanks for the kind words. And Slodder...you DO make sense, but I still need to apply grass and weeds, you'll see very little of them stones when that is done.
I'll write an small article on making water the way I did. It's called "Making water in three steps, in less than a day". The article will be there withing the next coming weeks ahead. first....the dio.
I'll keep you guys posted on the progress.

This is looking great. I respect you guys that have the guts to do dios, I know I cannot pull one off. The water looked real realistic, and the bridge is awesome. and the painting of the heads, forget about it, I know I would never be that good.
Awesome Stuff, Eagle man.

Toke,
I'll reveal the magic behind "making the bridge" in an article next month here on Armorama.
I'm gonna finish it first and then gonna take some time for the articles.
