Hi guys,

This is my version of Trumpeters SA-2. Build Out Of The Box. I got the camouflage from a few photos from the internet of a Egyptian SA-2 during the Yom-Kippur War.
She’s still glossy from the clear coat. A bit more weathering still needs to be done and the blast deflector needs a bit more work.

Hints and tips always welcome.

Jan-Willem

Hi guys,

Well I finally got the matt coat on so the photos should show the paint job better.
I made some scratches on the launcher. I want to keep the missile as clean as possible and weather launcher. I still haven’t figured out how I should do the blast deflector so if someone has some suggestions that would be very much appreciated.

I’ll post some new photos when I did some more work on it.

Hi guys,

I finaly got the blast deflector done. I airbrushed a basecoat of dark brown and gort the different shades of brown and orange with oil paints, I just hoop it shows on the photos.
Now I have to let those dry and I can start with the pigment stage of the weathering.

Hi guys,

Well I think she's as good as done. I added pigments to the blast deflector and pilled a heap of dust on the launcher.
I (personaly) like the contrast of the older launcher and the new misile.
Well here are the photos.
