Can anyone point me to reference on US Machine Gun Cradles/Mounts? I see there are a few types in the US arsenal for mounting .50 and .30 cals, I am looking for time lines, or vehicle specific information. Maybe even post war info.

Try the experts for this one. I've purchased parts from BMG (Browning Machine Gun) Parts Co. and their website offers several photos of mounts as well as information on certain vehicles they were used for. If you don't see what you need just give them a call. They're quite knowledgable. If you order parts from them they'll send you a catalog.
