I did a search here but only read about CA removal, but is there a product I can use to remove Testors tube glue from plastic on plastic?
I am trying to resurrect an old project that was glued this way and don't want to throw it out.
Thanks!

I don't think so, Jeff, as that 'melts' the plastic together whereas CA is more of a surface bond. You may be able to gently cut the pieces off and sand smooth.

No, properly bonded parts using tube glue really can't be "debonded". Tube & liquid cements dissolve the plastic along the bondline and when the solvent evaporates the parts are welded together, plastic from each part intermix and the parts really do become one. There's no way other than brute force to pull them apart.

What you can try is to put parts in to freezer for a few good hours, then try to break them loose. I tried this some years back on a old Aurora kit that I got from a model sweep. I had some success and failed on other parts…it’s worth a shot.

Thanks Joe, I'll give that a try!
It's not as valuable as an Aurora kit but just thought there might be a fix that I don't know about.

Tube glues often do not create a good bond. To separate large parts, I've had sucess running a small brush loaded with Acetone along the inside of the joint.
