i personally would add a lil more shading next time:D
how was the kit?
single piece, arms and legs? were there any fit problems?

I think the paint job is very good. The pose (not your fault) does not look natural.

On start I forget add, that it's 1/35 scale
Maybe pose isn't very natural(I corrected it because it was worse else) but it isn't impossible
Figure consisted from body with legs and had, single arms and rest parts.
Generally this kit require some cutting and sanding.
Some problems were with head and hat. Besides, in parts be placed bubbles of air and often are created holes Sometimes it is necessary to make some fragments of parts...
I have painted this with Humbrol enamels(I have used also some Revell and Pactra paints) and I have finish it with dry pigments from CMK.

Adam you've done a nice job with a not so great kit. The figure looks as if it is based on the very old Tamiya German Officers set.
