I'm into the final stages of weathering my M4A3 105mm and I was wondering....should I depict rusted exhaust pipes on this vehicle as I'd do on i.e. a German Panther?

Feedback appreciated.

I have been tracking and commenting on your progress with the M4A3. Your weathering-especially the fuel stains- are outstanding. Regarding the muffler, yeah they would oxidize somewhat due to the elements and the heat generated. So, continuing your tasteful use of rust would be in order. However, I would go for more mud than rust coloring.
My two cents.

I'm sure some Tiger will get a hold of it before it really has a chance to rust

Sorry couldn't resist

Thanx DJ! I appreciate the cudos, both here and in my WIP thread.
Guess I'll go with a subtle combination of rust and mud on the mufflers.

Thanx for answering!
