Ola people
I have this Jagdtiger from Revell at home but the grilles are missing. Now I was at a website from a dutch modelshop here in holland and I saw they had the tamyia grilles for the King Tiger. Now I know that they made the Jagdtiger from the "lenghtened" chassis of the King Tiger but will the tamyia etched grilles set work on my revell Jagdtiger. or is there a way to scratchbuilt these grilles??? Buying them is not really a problem but if there is a way to scratchbuilt it .....

Hello Rob,
Aber also have a seperate set of grill for Kingtiger and Jagdtiger, the aber set should also be good for the Jagdtiger. Because it's designed for DML Jagdtiger, which I think revell is just reboxed DML right?
On a seperate note if you want to use metal barrel for this baby, make sure you glue the gun breech to desired angle, otherwise due to the length of the gun, it will be top heavy.
HTH.

Ola Dave
Most likely the the revell jagdtiger is the reboxed DML tank as they have reboxed a lot of DML tanks. I will look for the Aber sets and maybe a turned metal barrel but I`m looking for shops here in holland that sell via the internet or else the shipping costs will almost be just as high as the stuff that I purchased.
Also how do they ship those PE sets?? I`m afraid that it`ll get an enormous twisted mess when I receive the thing but we`ll see about that.
anyway thanks for the info

Faust, All of the PE I have bought at hobby shops comes with a couple of layers of stout cardboard in the package. I think your PE will probably be okay when you get it.

Faust,
Look no further, I had found the PE grills that came with my DML Jagdtiger which I didn't use (I used Aber ones for them), SO you can have mine, I will send them out next week along with the Polish liberation Army eagle which I also found.
