Hi, Does anyone know where I might find pictures and/or plans for the drivetrain of the m3/m5 halftrack. Need for detailed 1/16 build.
Thanks, Capnjock

Best bet is the recently released RP Hunnicutt book Half-Track, the History of the American Half-track. This site http://www.kithobbyist.com/AFVInteriors/m3gmc/m3gmc1.html has the M3 Half-track all split apart. Might be useful to you.

Thanks for the info Gen. Sabot. Afv interiors has 2 useful pics. I also found a russian site that had very tight close-ups of the suspension. Would give my kingdom for enough gold for a Hunnicutt book!

Amazon.com sells the Hunnicutt book for $50+. I think it is one of his cheapest (by that I mean least expensive) armor books he's written. US half-tracks is a rather limited subject and didn't span that long a time. Squadron in action book may also have good enough photos and be only about $8.
