Hi Guys,
I had an idea and wanted to run this past you.
I was tidying the man cave/hobby room and came across a plastic set square I bought a few weeks ago.
Then I had a light bulb moment.
If you took said set square and filed steps into it at various points along the long side and the one opposite,I figure you could then bend wire to suit.
Does this make sense?
What do you think?
Cheaper than a bought one

It makes sense and would give you a way to make consistent width handles of different sizes. One thing to consider is that bending the wire will eventually start to destroy the edges of the steps you files into the plastic, making your handles start to become uneven. If you have a cheap metal square, even in aluminum, the same effect will work, but it will last longer.

Check this feature out - I think the trick you're talking about is at the bottom of the feature. It' a bit different because it's integrated with the board. The idea is there I think

I have one of the Griffon Models tools, but I haven't tried using it yet.
It's only a thin piece of PE,, and it appears to be designed for bending no thicker than 0,5mm wire, so I imagine it won't hold up to a lot of hardcore bending, but then again, it's only about $3.00.
