Heres a pic of my Dragon 1:72 Linebacker- a Bradley with a Stinger Rocket Launcher instead of a TOW. It was completed a couple months ago, will go in depth about how i painted it if asked. Keep in mind that it is in 1:72 scale, and i painted the engine grill black because it adds nice contrast...a little artistic licence never hurt anyone

Nice tank! Well done in 1/72! Please tell us how the tank is painted. That's as much interesting as the pictures!
No unit/vehicle markings?

if you look closely, you can see some markings near the sprockets. There is also an "11 C" and a chevron on the left sideskirt (not pictured)
As for the painting, i first started by spraying the weels with flat black, and then a pre-shade of Tamiya Flat Earth. Testors Model Master Acryl Sand was then sprayed in sort of a hap-hazzard manor all over the tank, allowing the Flat Earth to show through and give the Sand a dity look. After that came the detail painting with a 3/0 brush and a jar of Floquil Weathered Black. This paint is great. About 25% of this model is in that color. I painted the engine grill (supposed to be sand, but it looks cooler black), spare track links, smoke-grenade launcher caps (which are about 3mm long!), machine gun and cannon barrels, and other assorted bits and peices of the model with this color. Although it was tedius and time consuming, it was well worth the effort, and it gives the tank a spectacular amount of contrast. I am relatively good with that brush, and although the bits were tiny, i only got a little bit of paint were i didnt want. To correct that, i took the same 3/0 brush dipped in thinner and took the excess off. Next came the small amount of decals and another gloss coat.
Weathering consisted of a pin wash with my tried and tested 3/0 paintbrush and Windsor and Newton Burnt Umber. After that dried for a few minutes, i then took a large, flat brushed and smeared the thinned paint all over the model and that finished up the weathering. This was then all finished off with a flat coat of Testors Model Master Acryl Flat.
Oh, and thanks a bundle for uploading the pictures!

Looks pretty good, needs a few corrections though.
First off, it is not a tank. It is an ADA system built on a Bradley IFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) chassis. It is very different from a tank.
Now a couple pointers. You need to paint the headlights and tail lights. It looks unfinished without them. The vision blocks on the turret roof look unpainted too. The ammo cans on the turret bustle rack should be green, not sand. Only the lower half, which is the holder, is sand. The smoke grenade launchers are upside down too. The two closer tubes should be down, and the whole unit should point up, not forward.
Overall, it looks good. A few tweaks and it will be great. Good job so far.

i appreciate the pointers Gino, but i think im going to leave well enough alone. I will apply those techniques to my next build.

the kit was a dream. Dragon really had their act together. It was extremely well detailed and everything fit very well. the kit supplies some PE, but they also include plastic parts, just in case if you dont like PE. I would highly recomend it, and at a cost of about 15 dollars, you cant go wrong.
