It's a USMC Mighty-Mite. The Marines used it early in Vietnam because it was light enough to be carried by the early helicopters. Once the CH-53's came on line, it was no longer needed and phased out....replaced my the M-151's.

One of the German resin makers has announced a kit of the M422 Mighty Mite. All aluminum body to resist the sea salt corrosion, an air-cooled motor, a number of innovations that really set it apart from the mainstream.
