How do I go about painting bags and blankets?

2)Wash
3)Drybrush
and then I'm done?

I'd say this is the most common method. If you want more you have to go through a more sophisticated process, the one used to paint figures so:
- base colour
- add shades
- add lights
having care of blending them all porperly...

Lots of nice soft highlighting .....Drybrushing.......and more drybrushing, don't forget the texture on blankets either......Jim
