Here is my next try at my own dio its mainly matchbox kits dozer and extra figure by milicast stones from neigbours garden scratch built wall and tree.Id say its 99percent finished i think theres something not quite right but cant put my finger on it
If you can see whats wrong all coments good or bad welcome

Hi ,

you need to put the stones in the sand, not lay on top of it.

Also, a barrier in the desert when i can see no hint of a road ??

You will probable need to ad a bit of sand dust here and there (and take better pictures).

That's it for now.
Otherwise, nice effort to use this old kits

I think the pictures are alright. A bit more dust or sand and more evidence of the vehicles moving through the sand would work I think. Especially the trucks, they should leave some tyre grooves in the sand.

Overall though I like it, especially for small scale. I don't know if I could handle such small parts.

same with the tucks. you need to push them into the sand a little bit , that will give them some weight. there needs to be some tire tracks as well. and maybe put the table under the shadow of the tarp of the truck that is next to it , thats where i would put it if i was out in the sun in the desert
