Hello everyone!!!

I'm back with a small vignette displaying an old Esci 250/3 and ICM's
little 222. It's far from finished, a few figs are missing and lots of
stowage on the vehicles needs to be done aswell.

Hope you like it so far...

Best regards

Sven-Åke

Nice composition and excellent models!

Thanks Daryl !!!

Glad you like it. I hade to give it a lot of thought to get the composition
the way I wanted since I have very limited space on the base.

Cheers

excellent job. Great shades on those two tiny vehicles. I like the idea of the guy under the tent.

Very well done. Even in its "Unfinished" state this would wow most modelers that I know. Very good feel to the display without appearing too theatrical (overdone shading, out of scale details, etc.).

Not much into German WW2 armor myself, but this is a very nice build that could inspire me.

Lovely work Sven, once again!

I love the relaxed pose of the bloke snoozing under the sunshade. Can you tell us more about the figures etc?

Cheers

Thanks Pawel!!!

It's a thin line to balance on when it comes to shading vehicles in this scale.
Too little and they look flat and too much and they look weird but I think I have
found a pretty good balance with these two.

Glad You like it

Best regards

Sven-Ake,

Magnificent piece of work . . . as always! You have done an outstanding job on those vehicles and the figures are supurb. Can't wait to see more of your stuff and more on this build too! The groundwork on your dios are always so realistic. Lots of attention to detail and arragment.

Good to see you posting again, your work is very inspirational and you somehow always seem to manage with some excellent photos for all of us to view.

Very well done. Even in its "Unfinished" state

Thanks Kent!!!

I'm glad to hear that you like it

There should only be three figures left to do and all the stowage and the
I can call it finished but the danger with a vignette like this is that once
you think it is finished you come up with more ideas and stuff to put on it.

Last night I started on a bicycle that is going to hang on the back of the 250
so that moves the finishing date ahead another couple of days he he he

Thanks Michael!!!

The figures are from Preiser, can't remember exactly which sets though.
The 222 is untouched and straight out of the box. On the 250 I have made
some changes like replacing the tracks and wheels to resin ones and
scratched a new mount for the petrolcans in the rear, an exhaust pipe
on the left side, two bars for the tarp covering the vehicle and of course
the sunshade which is made from tissuepaper. The 250 kit is an old
Esci and it really needs extra detailing if it should be presentable. I was
thinking about a PE kit for it but I opted to save that for a later build...

Cheers

Tjena Sven-Åke.
The figues and sun-shade have added a lot to the scene, since I saw it last. The introduction of some colour ... including the grass ... has brought out the best in these small beasties. Id even suggest adding some personal gear (guns/food/water cans/etc) into the scene for the same reasons.
You always manage to get a great amount of depth and the details stand out so well.
Hopefully you´ll be showing this at the C4 .... I´ll be there this year, and would be great to see this live!!

Thanks Frank!!!

I'll be at C4 Frank but not sure yet if I will show my stuff or judge the 72 scale classes.
There's a slight possibility that I will show some of my 1/72 scale work anyway to create
some more interest for the scale... So one way or the other you will see this and perhaps
a few others at C4 ´

Thanks Jesper!!!

It might take a while for my next work to show up since I have slowed down my
production speed a bit, now it's one per month instead of earlier 1 per week
