As of this time I am not aware of any intention to stop running the DMoM, and Dragon are still supplying prizes for the winners. I understand that the orderly progression of it has been a little off of late but that is because of real life issues causing problems. I can but apologise for the late starts and finishes of the DMoM the last few months.

I know that and I fully understand. So if one wants to participate for example in September DMOM we can send our entries or should we wait the post opening submissions?

Hello all,

the DMoM gallery is now open for voting. Sorry for the delay, I thought I had set this up already. I also just realised that I had forgotten to post the winners of the August Competition.... I'll do that right now.

Hey,
Thanks for the update on the situation.
The above link to the contest gallery does not work and it seems to me that one of the photos in the gallery is of a tank on a scenic base, which seems to be against the rules of the competition?

Cheers

Greg,

I fixed the link ( ) and model may be presented on a simple base, with one or two crew figures. What is not allowed, are elaborate bases, with structures and such, or multiple figures which are not connected to the model.

Cheers

I'm sorry, you're right about the bases. The rules must've changed since I last read them, or my memory is playng tricks with me

Some very nice models this month and a good number of entries too...

However, is there a problem on the page? There are no voting buttons and vote counts are displayed!

Cheers,
Ian

Ian,
I presume you have cast your vote? In that case the vote button dissapears, and the total vote tally apppears. A bug in the system...

No, I haven't cast my vote yet -- I was looking over the models to narrow down my choice and noticed that there were no vote buttons and only totals.

Cheers,
Ian

Is it possible you had not logged in to the gallery?

@:) Err... yes, it is entirely possible that I had not logged in to the gallery. Oops, and I've not even been drinking (yet). Thanks.

It is odd, though, as I usually seem to log in automatically when I head over there. Damn this modern technology, making me look stupid (again)

Cheers,
Ian
