Lately I’ve become enamored with armor of the developing world. Something about the highly irregular ad hock and haphazard camouflage patterns those counties sometimes rely on really appeals to me – especially when compared to three tone NATO patterns.
I’ve collected a handful of unusual camouflage references from conflicts in central Asia and Africa over the years – does anyone know a good web site where I could perhaps find some more? Or does anyone have some references they could share?
Thanks – Any help or info you can share will be greatly appreciated!

Noah - maybe you could share yours here?
This is an interesting area for which references are very hard to come by, and I'm sure a lot of guys (myself included) would appreciate it.

Noah,
Heres Corbis.com - just type in Africa Tanks and a few pages will come up. I hope the link works......http://pro.corbis.com/search/searchFrame.aspx
It seems that the ole reliable rattle spray can is very popular to do ad hoc camo.
I am sure some others will chime in......
