hey there,
finished this nice kit today. I am looking forward to getting hints to improve my modelling skills. I am not that satisfied with the result because the camo doesn't look very realistic. I applied it with a brush using vallejo acrylics.
thanks,
lelle

Very nicely done Panther. As I have only recently returned to the hobby I don't feel I am up to critiquing your work further.
However, I don't believe you should be too disappointed with your camouflage efforts. According to the book Panzer Colours (Squadron/Signal Publications) German WWII camo was anything but standard, especially as the war progressed. The book states that all manor of application techniques were used by the crews; hands, rags, brushes to even string mops! It also states that the colours were delivered as pastes and had to be thinned with any solvent available including in some cases muddy water. This resulted in quite major variances in colours even within the same unit. So I guess that your efforts are as authentic as others.
Cheers,
Jan
