I am a big fan. Thanks for all of the great kits. I do have one request - will you please tool a large 1/16 scale Sdkfz 250 half-track? I would really like at least two of them. The 250/3 would be a great place to start, maybe you could do a whole series. It would look really super with my big Kubelwagen and some 1/16 figures.
Thank you for your consideration...
Sincerely,
Scott Gentry,
Did I mention I was a big fan...

Ahhh... couldn't agree more. The 250/251 half-tracks would be damn nice in large scale. Now you'd sell three of them allready :-)

How about some realism:
1/35 Super HET and a retooled M1A2 with the SEP mods. Please.
and maybe a MAZ tank transporter with a spot-on T-80U? Please Please?

I'm game to try a 1/16 SDKfz 250. Course I'd probably screw up the wash again...

didumus, did not mean to rain on YOUR parade...I was more poking fun at the idea of the 1/16 Bismark...HA!
And I guess it would be a NEW tooled M1A2 SEP from Tamiya. DML would be the retooled kit. I tell you what, let DML retool thier M1A2 and have Tamiya make the Super HET. Then all willbe right with the world, except of course for the russkie stuff....

Jacques,
It's cool. Post tones, you know? What is a super HET?

Scott - The Super HET is a rather large transport truck.
You can find pics of it here in Maj. Rob's Motorpool. Below is the link to the beast.

I've been looking over the Italeri kit and comparing it to the the DML and Trumpeter M1A2. It doesn't seem like it would be too bad to scratch the SEP stuff. The Italeri kit looks good to me, but admittedly, my M1A2 time is extremely limited to just going through a short NET training course and that was almost six years ago.And I guess it would be a NEW tooled M1A2 SEP from Tamiya. DML would be the retooled kit.
I bet if Tamiya did an M1A2, they would just retool the M1A1 molds and cut as many corners as possible reusing the same early style tracks.

Hey Rob, I was WISHIN' they would make a all-new tooling...but your jaded view is probably spot on. I would believe that too. I mean, their big news releases look to be, for the most part, the same old kits with some new add-ons.
Come on Tamiya, take us where we know you can! That T-55 was great, now break some other new ground.

I was serious about the Famo too. I need it when my Tiger breaks down. A trailer on the back would be nice too.
