Hey Andrew. Nice dio. The walls and cobblestone road look great. Also the snow looks amazing .... what did you use for it? It shows a good fall of snow, yet still lets the groundwork be seen. nice effect and isnīt that easy to get right.
The tank looks well built, but could do with some weathering to tone down the whitewash. Although it could be accurate enough for a newly camoflauged vehicle, roughly whitewashed, its what comes across to the modellers eye that sells the picture. The bottom hull stands out with the green ... even more so with the whitewashed boogies..... a heavy dark brown wash over all of this would tie the two colours together. A lighter wash on top and some scratches would look cool.
These are only my opinions........ and its not me you should please. Just imagining what i would do! Good luck!

Andy
You are working with the speed of light mate first that wonderfull handpainted StuG and now this beautifull dio. As Plasticbattle said snow is really good and I love the way you let the groundworks show through it, Mind Sharing your secret?? I also love the whitewash that looks really good. This dio shows a nice action of advance and the posters on the wall are a nice detail.
Further You could just as Plasticbattle says give the lower part of the tank a wash with a dark earth or something but that`s just a detail. Nice job on this one Andy

hi guys
thanks for the advice you won't believe this but the snow is some kind of rock i found while i was eeling ages ago i think it is some type of chalk but iam not sure. i cratered it down then sieved it over after i had put a layer of hair spray over the base.

Good groundwork and snow, as mentioned earlier. The one suggestion I would make would be the "angle of view"... dioramas usually look flat if laid out at a 90-degree (ie, "straight") format. By angeling the scene on the base about 20-25-degrees you force more perspective from the viewer, and can show off more of the fine detail of your work. Try for yourself to see this... just angle the diorama on your desk, then take the same photo, and you will see it looks more interesting and invites more inspection. Good work!

Great job on the winter camo. It looks like it just received a fresh coat of whitewash for the new snow. Keep up the good work.
