I recently purchased some White metal U.S. and German Paratroopers in 28mm. They were about $25 AUD for a box of 8 - superior value to any plastic or resin kits. Although they are only 1/2 the size of a 1/35 they easily have at least as much detail as a resin set. I am making a scene from band of brothers episode 3 in Carentan when 1st platoon run down the road towards Cafe de Normandie without realising it is full of Fallschirmjaeger Mg42s.

sounds good, love to see the pics when done, i have always thought it a good idea to make a dio of something you have seen with your own eyes, like in movies and series', in particular band of brothers, black hawk down, saving private ryan etc... i mean it makes it ALOT easier for reference, cheers
