I have recently used some future to coat my models before washing and they are a little glossey. What do you reccomend to dull this down? Is there a good clear coat that will do this? Any ideas would be great!

I use Testor's Dullcote shot from my airbrush exclusively for a flat coat. Works fine, regardless of the previous sheen. If you don't have an airbrush, cnsider the shakey can of Dullcote, but use a lot of ventalation. If you're handbrushing, you might want to go with PollyScale. The old Polly S clear flat was exceptional, so I'd guess the new name would be good, too. :-)

Tis sounds more like an airbrush problem. Maybe you need to thin the Dullcote more, maybe adjust the pressure. Maybe you need a new needle/nozzle assembly.

I am not using an airbrush myself (don't have one Yet), just brushing. I am going to try some dullcoat or polyscale this weekend.

Don't brush Dullcote on a large area. Repeat: Don't brush Dullcote on a large area. If you don't have an airbrish, use a spray can of Dullcote. The surface is to smoth and the flat coat is poolling, that's why you're having problems. You need to get a light cover, almost a clear, flat primer, to deal with the sheen you have. It needs to be almost dry when it hits the surface so it ends up smooth and flat.

I think i was getting uneven coat of future due to a high pressure setting (22psi?) for the future coat..

Just finished a SBD dauntless, and did the first future coat at 12-15 psi, much better looking, even coat.. My dullcoat is use a spray can..

Does this sound like the problem?
