Cautiously optimistic, but it looks like Trumpeter may have "fixed" their wheel tread problem. Will have to see a "live" kit before I draw any conclusions.

This kit looks promising, even with the thumbprint (is that a kit detail, or an aftermarket one?). And the tires do look more prototypical, although we'll have to wait and see...
In all honesty, I'll probably buy one of these beasts regardless of the kit reviews, just because it looks so darn cool.

Just look at some pictures of military parades in Moscow from the last 30 years: there they are, towing some extra-heavy intercontinental missiles( I guess with nuclear load...)
So, yeah, they were used mostly as prime movers in this version. I mean the whole concept is that of a prime mover or tank transporter.
