This is a Diorama I built for the Transportation Museum at Ft. Eustis Va. of the ambush that took place near Ap Nih, in the Cu Chi District. Sgt William Seay was awarded the Medal of Honor for his actions during this ambush. His truck was just behind mine and because of his actions, a lot of us were able to come home.

As usual Dave beautiful diorama. It’s always a pleasure looking at your models. I love the action shot in photo #5.

Nice scene Dave, it's a big one! Lot's of work put into it, can be proud for the history behind it and your master skills!
Thanks for sharing your photos, may have to stop into the museum next spring when down in that neck of the woods!
Cheers -
Tim

That's a nice tribute to a fallen friend, Dave.
After reading your intro, I looked up Sgt. Seay's medal citation on the Internet, and I have to say that it's the kind of thing that brings a lump to the throat and really makes you stop and think about things.
To read about such bravery and such sacrifice in a real-life situation is very humbling, I think.
