ACE have sent us news of the release of a plastic kit of the RSO/01 with 2cm FLAK38 in 1/72scale.

its bizarre, but awesome! I don't think thats a flak 38 though. the mount itself is unique, but the gun cradle looks nothing like a 38. a flak 30 maybe?

agreed - I've never seen a 20mm flak mounting anything like this one. curious

it is a Gerbigsflak, I understand that it is a special lightened gun mount for mountain troops...
There was also a special version of the RSO for Gerbigstruppen, donīt know the difference with the standard one.
How good/bad are ACE models? Iīve heard opinions ranging from excelent to garbage. And they have some very interenting subjects
