Hey guys, I'm building Real Model's Kit and I hope someone can share some photos and information on the device.
What are the holes in the two rectangular bars used for? I can only think that they are for adjusting the height and locking them with T-pins but the bars would be short of holes in this case. So what would be the "operational" height or the correct height? As Eduard's instructions locate the bars a little too high compared to photos .. seems to me at least.
I also seen the rectangular box positioned facing inwards and facing forward..wat's the dif?
At the bottom of the box there's a scored line--should i fold it leaving the bottom half opened?
Where would the cabling or wiring go---the photos I have aren't clear.
Lastly, there's also another small bar to be placed horizontal to the upper bar, some cases they're on one side, others left, what's the dif? And why is there a chain attached to it sometimes?
Thanks in advance..

Thanks Milo, I have those photos, but I can't really make out certain things that would answer my questions..
I know it may be pretty hard to find..but I'm trying my luck.
BTW, I'm really enjoying the Stryker Build and when my client asked for a recommendation on Strykers, I told him your RV was the one to get. THANKS!

the diffrent holes in the support bar is so that you can change the length of the Rhino depending on the threat, sometimes they use delay devices. Not sure about some of the other stuff you are asking, I had a Rhino on my Humvee for 14 months. The chain we used so incase there was any type of laser beam detonated, or trip wire detonated IED's, it would break the beam/wire first.

OK thought those holes adjusted the length.. Very interesting and simple solution with the chain--Thanks for that.
Where does the coiled wiring go to down below?

Rob
I look forward to seeing those, how can I find them?
Bill
You can't. They're on an external hard drive of mine which I can access soon. They're the Mike version (totally revamped) of the little birds, the MH-47 and MH-60. About 100 pics, give or take.
As for the wire, it runs into the engine compartment throught the most expeditious route. Different bumpers and accessory setups will dictate. In no case I've seen does it go through the grill because of the mesh behind it.

You are such a tease. Have you one picture that shows the nose section?
Sorry to hijack your thread Nik.

Indeed. Apologies, Nik. Boggie, look for the pic on a new thread addressed to you, as I have never figured out how to send images in a PM. (if it's even possible)

I can see that for the Humvee, but the photos I have of the Stryker shows the wiring going either behind the RHINO device or onto the hull and disappearing...? Are my Mark 1eyeballs failing me
