Polish Leopard 2's

Suddenly caught a urge to do a Polish Leo, it's been in the back of my mind since my Bn. got relieved by a Polish Mech infantry Bn. back in '03. In talking to their platoon Commander he mentioned that they had t-72's and BMP's at the moment but were transitioning to Leopards when they returned from deployment. So... I've searched all over the place and have found conflicting info, one site says that the Polish Army bought Leo 2's, but I found a transaction record that says they bought Leo 2A4's. Anybody know for sure, because I saw kits of each on evilBay?

They are Leopard 2A4s.....there isn't actually a tank just called the "Leopard 2".
Do an internet search for "Polish Leopard 2A4" and you will find info and images.
There is also are videos of Polish Leopard 2A4s on You Tube......just do a quick search.
There is also a new figure set by Adalbertus of a Polish Leopard 2A4 crew......they are in parade positions....the commander is saluting.

Thank-you all for the quick replies and excellent help with my question. This is by far the best site on the net, and i know that it's the peole who come here who make it that way! I picked up a hobby boss kit of the 2a4 and found the echelon decal set, too. Thanks again, guys.

Make sure you post pics John.
I may do a Polish Leo as part of the "Big Cats Campaign".
Cheers,
Paul

I don't see Poland's red and white emblem on the Leopard. Have they stopped using it on their vehicles? That's a shame.
