Andrew Spence (armagh5) posted a highly-interesting 'What-If' model. It can be seen:
HERE (LINK)
Which got me thinking... How many models do we ALL have in the stash which we've lost interest in, but we could, by mixing and adapting produce an 'Almost Credible' What If vehicle?
Anyone interested? Nothing OOB and as it should have a degree of 'believability' to it. Maus with Deep Wading Gear?

Ok Jim you have caught my attention, can you expand more on your idea. I am thinking along the lines of KT with a flail fitted.

It would be a bit more than a 'What-If?' campaign. Think of how, historically speaking, if the war had continued beyond 1945, how existing vehicles would have been adapted to meet changing circumstances. A series of 79th Armoured Division vehicles based on the Comet for amphibious landings in Japan? Cromwells equipped with concrete armor? I'm not even going into the German subjects as the stuff on the drawing boards was wacky enough...
Or even the kind of variants which COULD have been developed with the M3 Halftracks or an M4a3e8 equpped with a Petard projector?
Lotsa possibilities...

Er... Credible enough?
This is my new fascination, blending 1/35 AFV into sci-fi, using Gundam kits.
