Hi guys,
I would like to know how accurate is academy´s M10 flame gun. What it needs to be improved to get an accurate flame gun? In the case it is not very accurate is there in the market an accurate M10 flame gun?
Thanks in advance,
Angel

hi angel.
Well it is a bit "raw" but reasonble and with a bit of work you can make a perfect m10-8.
Are you going to built it on a m113? goggle for pictures and work from them.
The base of the gun is a good start .I think scratchbuilding is a bit to much work, but some do....
No record of a a-m part ..

Hi Chris,
Thanks for your prompt answer. I just wanted to know since the australian turret is completely wrong (I already bought firestorm´s turret).
I am planning (with time) on doing an M113 zippo and also a brown water zippo. Right now I am gathering all the info I can.
I already have Academy´s M113. For the brown water zippo I still don´t know whether I will buy Masterpiece´s kit or I will scratchbuild it. I´ve been gathering the plans and fill confident on doing it by myself.
Thanks again,
Angel

hey angel
Iam scratching the BWN program 5 howitzer, it has basicly the same layout as the programme 5 zippo.
(don`t know your scratch-building skills.) but it can be done. but it looks easy but it isn`t.
You have to have the book "vietnam ironclads" by john carrico. that one is a must have!!! other wise you won`t get the detail right.
buying the masterpiece zippo (also mastered by mr carrico) is way easyer en modified your own needs from there.
The kit is pretty spot on, few things here and there. but it save you alot of time en effort.(ohh..and money)
If you buy the kit you have the basic hull and cunning tower turrets ect ect.
Building that yourself take time and effort (i know) and don`t get me started about the bar armour!!
Any Q just ask.

Hi Chris,
I bought from them the "river assault craft modification plan for the LCM(6)" CD and the Ironclads book. I already received the CD and printed the ninety something pages. The book will be sent soon. I am waiting for the book in order to take the decision on scratchbuilding them or buying the kits. I love the brown water navy and I am planning on building as much of them as I can.
Have a nice day,
Angel
