Well....into the frying pan and into the fire. I got my ISP connection back late last night but proceeded to download a beta demo of a PC game (Age of Wonders II) that then proceeded to complete trash my system. Long story short.... I am having to buy a new hard-drive (as there is also a chance it just plain quit on me) and reintall my operating system, programs, etc.

Luckily I have a second machine (the one I am on now). But all my FTP and email were on the other machine so please note the following.

Been there and done that already this year. It's no fun.

Did you try fdisk and format first,using a boot disk. what os are you running win 2000 or win 98 or xp I have all three on seperate drives but I really like win 98.
