Hi, as shown in my previous post, i can't find figures for a jeep crew, so i'm seriously thinking about making my first own figures.
My question is: what's the better kind of putty? The hard one in two components or the toothpaste-alike? Should i use both?

By 'toothpaste' type I take it you're referring to something like the Tamiya putties? Those are generally filler putties, and lack the substance to sculpt with. You'll want to go for a 2 part putty, such as Magicsculpt or Milliput.

Have you tried looking for the Verlinden set at Jordi Rubio or at Maquetas 113 in Valmojado??

Wow! You musr really be talented to attempt this one. Regardless, I would recommend Milliput--great material.

Hi
If you don't get into sculpting the figures you may consider the set from Miniart released a short while ago. Even as a starting point to modify to fit your needs.

Hi !
I would personally recommend Magic-sculpt 2-part epoxy putty. I normally sculpt using a mix of 90-95% Magic-sculpt to 5-10% Duro. To see the results, check out my post in the Figures section of the Armorama forum entitled "Some of my figure work". Hope that helps. Cheers !
