Just got the trumpeter M1A1 w/ mine roller kit #00336 . I was wondering were there any mine rollers used in OIF? I don't remeber seeing one on the tube,or any pics of one posted. If any one [SABOT?] has a lead I would appreciate it . thank you T T -13 OUT.

From what I've heard, the mine rollers were not use in the desert because theunit would not roll on the loose sand; rather it would push up piles of sand in front of it until it got buried in the sand, forcing the tanks to back up and go around the sand dune.
The rollers were more effective on soild terrain.

That is the mine plow. These are a more effective tool for loose terrain.
