Very cool! Nice poses and they appear to finish up well! Glad to see some more Commonwealth representation on the modeling scene.

Nice figures, although I see that the Bren is undersized as pointed out by Al Bowie in the initial announcement:
https://hfmodeling.kitmaker.net/forums/122073 I thought these knives were called khukri or kukri?

I agree with you Thomo, the large rings around the eyes of the Bren gunner and his pronounced jaw makes him look monkey-like. I think that the Nepalese people have quite soft features. The guy with the kukri's face looks the better of the two in my opinion.

That said, I'd reserve judgement for a preview of these figures. The way they have been painted may not be the most helpful in judging the facial details.
Wait and see photos of the bare resin me reckons...

I've seen these bare resin photos before (in the first announcement) and I rest my case. I cannot see the need for the sculptor to put huge rings around the eyes of the Bren gunner. In my opinion, the facial features are not an accurate representation of Nepalese people.
I'm also very disappointed about the Bren gun being over-sized. I think, according to the initial announcement, that these figures stand at about 60mm so it is obvious that LMM have not bothered sculpting a larger scaled Bren gun. This might also mean that these figures will not work well in 1:35 scale...
hmm...

Despite the sculpting issues, great choice of subject matter. Maybe some Hornet heads to the rescue? Personally, I'm hoping that we'll see some Gurkha figures in Pacific kit in the future... Regards, Johnny B.
