Hi Bret,
I'd steer clear from the kits myself..better to add a few extra dollars and invest in Dragon etc.
Revell aren't exactly known for their 1/35 figure kits.
I did a google and found some sprue images on your behalf so you can judge them for yourself!

I have built these sets and I rank them with older Tamiya offerings. They are a little large for my taste, more like 1/32".

They are older Italeri/ESCI/Zvezda moldings.Early war uni's. OK for older stuff but definately need new heads.

Hi
just started to build pz gren. I think they are better than
tamiya bouth new and old.
they are not to big, like dragon.
heads are not the best but better than tamiya.
It's a nice kit I think and it's difficult to find good
walking fig.

None of the above, they're Ex-ICM and better than at least the first two of your options.

Sorry David, I don't think ICM was in existance when these were first molded by ESCI/Italaeri. Could be wrong, but don't think so.
Cheers!

Revell released but ICM kits as were their [Revell that is] two German Tank Crew sets.
Actually the ICM are workable and much better with a new head or two.

ICM

Sculpting style isn't right for either ESCI (producers of v chunky figures) or Italeri (who had problems with anatomy).

I bought these boxed as Revell - they are nowhere near DML standard, but better than older Tamiya figures. Italeari as far as I'm concerned never made any usable figures so are hardly a comparison! They ARE meant to be SS, they have moulded on sleeve eagles, easy enough to remove, & no breast eagles. None are wearing camo though, & all have marching boots, not gaiters. They also have moulded on arm chevrons in a couple of cases, which helps painting. They can be made to look OK-ish, the helmets are too big, & there are plenty of sink marks etc to fill, but they are cheap, & the poses are quite good, for casual/marching infantry. I wouldn't use them centre-stage, but they would bulk up the numbers OK.
