Hi there,

This is my 1st post at Armorama

This is Tamiya Churchill VII backdated converted to Mk IV AVRE using Legend set and some scratch build
Tracks are from Accurate Armor and stowage as well, plus some home-made

Then painted and weathered

unfortunatly it was too late to correct the three small panels on the side of air-intakes
( although I've seen them on the AVRE Mk III of Bovington Tank Musuem ???! )

Only one minor thing is still missing : butterfly nuts on the straps of the jerrycan
( added already since these pictures

Hi Yvan,

Very nice work on the conversion, excellent stuff, you have a grand looking AVRE there. The only thing I would say is that you need to add the sliding rails for the co-drivers hatch and the little triangle sight on the top of the turrret.

Very impressive. Pity the turret is case solid, limits you're options a bit.

Overall good, but one major issue : the tracks are undersized and not long enough ( missing about 3 to 4 cm )
that's why I used the Accurate Armor ones
