Credit to Trumpeter for fixing some detail that was lacking on the ICV kit, like adding similar tie down loops as the AFV Club all over the vehicle, and adding more detail to the very poor original RWS, and correct strut guards. Still, the AFV Club has finer detail and their RWS is a model in itself.

The exhaust deflector is a nice addition since it is standard now even on non-slat home station vehicles.

Trumpeter's soft detail is still evident in the light clusters and front winch assembly. The TC hatch still has the pre-procuction spent shell deflection plate that never made it to production vehicles (production vehicles used catch bags instead). And the DVE is still in the wrong position.

Is that a BFT antenna on the left side towards the back near the stowage basket?
I was thinking about getting this kit from AFV but i saw that only first run kits will get a resin BFT and was wondering if second, third run kits will have one at all in plastic or will the buyer be S.O.L. on that? And lastly which version is this since AFV is a 2 in 1 kit whats this one is it also a 2 in 1 or some mix of the two versions?

I could not say for sure, so I have left this for others to hopefully chime in. I think your best bet is to track down the AFV Club kit w/ the resin blue force tracker in it (most hobby shops I think would still have it if they have the CV) and go w/ that since their version is overall better anyway. It comes with a Duke too. In any case I don't think that one item ought to sway your purchase decision when so many other issues are to be dealt with in the Trumpeter version. Just my two cents.

Bob thanks for the reply. I would never be swayed by one tiny piece of resin/plastic i'm just wondering if second run and so on will include a bft in plastic of if that will be first run only. And if the trump version will have it in every kit i like to get the most from a kit so if i can get a bft and use it on my gen kill hummer project along with a duke antenna which i didn't even know about till now. I only wish my LHS carried modern kits they do from time to time around x-mas really and $20 over what you find online(highway lhs robbers) This is why i am trying to find out about the kits you know most bang for the buck.
