Was this armour only used on the JS-2 in the battle for Berlin or was it used in earlier battles?

Good review Jeff! I learned something new today. I've seen the bed spring armor on the T34/85's but not this on a JS.

Well would have to ask Mig on that.
I could not find any other areas of use.
