I started this kit last year, got p****ed off with the fit of the cab parts and shelved it. A few days ago I decided I was going to get the better of the little beast and have finally finished it.
It is the Italeri Chevrolet 15cwt (kit No 6233) OOB apart from the figure which is a Tamiya one. I painted it using Vallejo and Xtracrylics acrylic and used Promodellers Light Wash to finish off the weathering. All comments and criticisms are welcome.

Very nicely done! Always glad to see when someone can wrestle a bad kit to the ground and win.

Hi Martin,
Nice work, truck looks great. The doors are a real pain.
Like you're finish.

Lovely little dio ! I'd only change the color of the dust on the wheels. Now it seems a bit too pale, a warmer tone would lead to more harmony. My two cents. Great work ! Good choice of vehicle also. G.

I love those trucks, I wish I had a real one.
I'm building this kit at the moment, my only complaint so far is the grill. In period photos you can see through it so I'm cutting it out to replace it with screen.
Nice use of the figure, looks right at home there on the running board.

Many thanks for the kind comments guys.
Yes it does look a little light. I should have made it match the base a bit more.
