Neil,

All I'm getting are the dreaded "Red X's." I have AA's Super Pershing conversion....just need to get the donor kit and other bits and bobs. So, what are your thoughts on this conversion? What corrections did you need to do to it, if any? Details?

If mine goes as I hope it will, I'll see about getting their Pershing howitzer conversion too.

LMK,

Mike
{Edit}: third pic (of the PE on the rear fender) just showed up when I submitted the above. Hmmmm????

Neil,

Go figure, pictures are now showing up perfectly! Dunno.

Did you do anything internally with the batwings? IIRC, there was an AA omission within that area.

Looking forward to hearing about this build!

Unique looking M26 there Neil. Looks good, don't see too many of them on here. Your weathering and tracks came out great. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers -
Tim

Hi Neil, that's a great model we have here. It hink I like him the most from all those you posted here. Great work on the tracks. I also admire your speed in finishing all those kits. The time in UK must be going slower

hello to you all

i am sorry if my first post seemed a little bit vague but it was getting a bit late in the evening so i kept it short and sweet

high mike
i hope the pictures aren't red x's anymore. i had to make a small brace for each of the bat wings made from 0.040" (1.00mm) sheet plastic you can just see these in the second picture and attach to the gun mantelet.
peronally i think this conversion is stunning but there is a lot of test fitting of the front armour plates.there were no air bubbles and all of the parts were cast perfectly.

dj judge & tim thanks for the great feedback

hi pawel

each time i make a new model i try something different but every time, i learn a little bit more. thats why i look forward to my next build just so i can try something different, maybe something that ive seen in a magazine or here on armorama. as for building fast i usually ony work for an hour in the evenings and a couple of hours friday afternoon and what ever i can get in over the weekend .

i'd like to thank 'roy chow' for posting the links for me when i started this kit

neil.........

Looks pretty good. One note. The right side tail light should not be red. Only the upper left should have red on it. Its the same setup as on the M20 below.
