Guys
This is what i did to a tamiya churchill.
I lengthened the hull and widened it to the same size as a black prince.
The card turret is a black prince shape and size which is one of many card turrets i have made that i use to test fit on hulls before i comite to plastic.
The barrel is a resin copy of the tamiya centurion 20 pder which i use as a fictional 4 inch ww 2 gun.
there didnt seem much point in putting a 17pder in it
Ive included photos of a standard mk7 as a compasision
theres still loads to do
its been fun so far
all comments welcome
regards andrew

Hi Andrew,
I like your "what if" British AFV's, especially your Matilda on steroids.
I'm assuming your inspiration was the A43 Black Prince that the British actually produced near the end of the war.
Your Churchill is very reminiscent of that beast.

Looking forward to the finished product, the Matilda too !!!
Cheers

As jjumbo says, I too am really enjoying seeing all of these British 'what-ifs'.
You obviously have a talent for resin casting and scratch building and your work looks great so far.
Now lets just see some with some paint on!

Hi Andrew.
I really like what you're doing with the Churchill. Looks very good to me. Just one small detail. Shouldn't the tracks be mounted the other way around ?
Keep up the good work.
Kind regards,
Schienenwolf
