Guys
this is along the lines of the Tortoise
ive used resin copies of churchill parts
its a big model
the tracks are tamiya king tiger
the mantlet is an old classic car rear brake cylinder rubber seal
it fits the barrel perfectly
the wheels are widened valantine wheels
the beige engine deck is a resin copy of a churchill that ive split to 2 levels
there would need to be lots of horsepower under it and some big exhausts and i like the look of the step
the barrel is from an american m109 i think
its scales roughly as a 6 inch
i havnt done much on it recently but will get to it again soon
all comments welcome
this one was fun to do too
regards andrew

Hey Andrew,
I've been working on a "what if" conversion of the Tamiya Cromwell/Centaur into a 17pdr SP a'la the Churchill 3" SP pictured below:
Now that AFV Club have an early Churchill in the works, I may have to shelve it in favour of building an actual Churchill 3" SP.
I'm looking forward to you finishing your SP!!
Cheers

Very creative "what if", I like it. Great that you have been able to piece together parts from multiple kits (helps to reduce the spares pile! ). Looking forward to seeing you finish this one! Thanks for sharing.
