Haven't seen T34 in green-brown camo in my life but I have few pictures from my last trip to Death Valley in Slovakia.

If you want more just PM me!

Hey,thats pretty cool that you can climb on the tanks and pose for pictures, here in the US its keep off the displays "no lawsuits from falling off" but I guess it protects the pieces from damage, but again thats a cool photo !!!

I think the camo scheme you refer to was mentioned in a KV2 thread, it may also help you if you look up russian AFVs captured by Finland.

Well, it seems that nobody cares what will happen with these tanks - I just used maybe last opportunity to take this kind of picture before gypsies steal rest of it to sell as a scrap... unfortunately a lot of pieces of these tanks (including engines) are already stolen .

Just a word of warning, don't use that photo as reference. It's of a restored vehicle painted in a made-up scheme resembling the war-time three-color paint job. The colors are all wrong.

Here's a T-34/76 with accurate colors: Click

This is likely the reference picture (sorry, no color) for the Dragon’s 1/72 kit – it could be any of those two green/brown ones (#228 or #248), I guess. As already noted, it’s not T-34/85, it’s T-34/76 with Uralmash (pressed) turret. The references I have seen are a bit unclear about the location - few place it at Leningrad Front in 1943, but I’ve also seen it captioned (if I recall correctly) as Kharkov or Lvov area.

Concord’s Soviet Tank in Combat 1941-45 has a color plate (page 34) showing T-34 Mod. 1943 in green/earth brown camo schema. The machine supposedly belongs to 30th Guards Tank Brigade, Leningrad Front, 1943. It has number 106 and combat name “Stalinets” (#107 Sergei Kirov is also mentioned for the same scheme). The caption also claims that this camo was “common in 1943” without any further details.
