reading through it I get the feeling Trumpeter was trying to make this kit as simple as possible for the modeller to build but then on the other hand there is plenty for the after market manufactures to work with i look forward to seeing one of these actually built and the potential brass that will come available

I've started working on this kit and have found the parts fit to be a little random at best, going from excellent to poor. I have had to trim locating tabs on some of the engine parts that were 5 or more degrees off from their proper position. I'm impressed with the kit overall ,but things like the screws to hold various frame pieces on will have to be worked around if this is to be anything more than a shelf model.

I am building mine on line at BlogTV.I haven't had to trim any alignment pins,were these at a much later stage?
