Hi Brent,
Thanks for that. Yes, its the Trumpeter kit with Revell tracks, sprocket and roadwheels - they fit beautifully and look much better!

Are the Revell wheels and tracks accurate for this version of the Stug? I'm only asking because I don't know and I have wondered about it myself. Are they wheels and tracks from the Revell PZ III? Or Stg III late?

hi, David.
StuG III B-C-D-E and Pz III Ausf. H-I-J-K-L-M, all of them could use the same 40cm wide tracks.
There're lots photos of Stug.III/B, think Steve might be base on this one for the wonderful work.

Hi David,
The wheels and tracks are the same in both kits, the Pz III L and Stug III G, I can't remember which I used as they were from the spares box. Only the Stug III A had the narrow tracks and roadwheels.

Steve,
Stunning piece of work!

Looks like a 35th scale build. Great kit bashing and lots of scratch building. The weathing, track sag, vehicle stowage and figure make this one of the finest early Stugs that I have seen to date in this scale! Nice selection of closeup photos too!
Thanks for sharing and keep building!

Wow!! I'm impressed! I'm planning to start a 1/35 StuG IIIb soon. I'd be happy to get half the detail on it that you have on this one!
About tracks - I thought I read that the A and the early B both had the 36cm and then late B and on have the 40cm.

Really nice kitbash Steve. I'm not a fan of the smaller German tanks but this one has me thinking otherwise. Great work and weathering, I'm learning from looking at yours and others on this site.
