Has anyone used AFV's M48/M60 Chevron "workable" tracks? Are they that mucj better than Tamiya's "rubber bands"? Do they fit the Tamiya drive wheels well or do they come with their own drive wheels? I 'm doing an M48A3 and an M60A2 for the cold war cook off and want to know if I should get these additions. Thanks in advance for the input. :-)

I've got a set for use with my Slick 60 project. No drive sprocket included. I imagine they will fit the Tamiya suspension, but you can always shim or trim the center of the sprocket carrier if they don't.

They are superior to the Tamiya M60/48 tracks. The kit tracks have the center guide molded in the wrong spot. They are centered on a single track block and not straddling two adjacent blocks. Same problem with the Tamiya Sgt York/M60A3 T-142 tracks as well. I thought the T-142 track was the more appropriate tracks for the M60A2 though, but I guess it is really up to the builder.

I've used them on both vehicles you mention without any troulble. And I've currently got them going on some IDF Mag'achs with academy as th ebase kit, again no appreciable trouble. they will also hold paint bettter than the rubber bands from any company. the set also gives plentyy of extra for spares on you vehicle.

Thanks for the input, guys. I'd read (probably here) about the center guides and filed the info. Then I was painted spare trackes for the M48 when I noticed the difference in the guides. I'll be getting indis for these two tanks.
