Really like those figures. You did a Very Nice job on them, hope mine turn out 1/2 as well. What paints did you use, especially on the Greatcoats ? milvehfan

Milvehfan, I used a base coat of tamiya field grey highlighted and shaded with thinned-down oils (white, black, and dark green) for the greatcoats.
Any other comments/suggestions are welcome- fire away!

I've got a set of these with the gun and you've done a nice job so far.
I think you need to work on the eyes., always the hardest part in my opinion. They've all got that "mad stare" look at the moment. If you look at the human eye under normal circumstances you do not see the top and bottom parts of the pupil, they are covered by the eye lids. So whilst it appears as a dot of black from a distance, its top and bottom are covered if that makes sense.
Also the bayonet scabbard is not that shiny, along with the entrenching tool (spade) That would not be shiny so as to attract light, attention and eventually a bullet !!
