Can the external fuel tanks on the M113a3 be taken off and if so what would it look like?

Also what is the interior color of the M113A3? That pale green color or flat white?

No, the external fuel tanks are welded to the hull permanently. The interior color of all US APCs (with the exception of the Strykers) is Seafoam Green, i.e. pale green. Tamiya Sky is a good match, or Testors Model Master Pale Green with a few drops of white added.
